Awesome place. It's a better version of yogi bears jellystone park. You have more room, the staff is nicer and helpful. Events at mitchell park are not every minute like jellystone, where you are struggling to make the events you spent soo much money on. Michelle was affordable and we'll worth the trip. We will be back
I truly wish I could give more than 5 stars. This place is wonderful! So clean, perfect attention to detail, friendly staff and helpful owners. It is evident that they truly care about their park and the caliber of people it attracts and we truly appreciate that! If you are looking for a place to party and/or let your children run wild, this is not the place for you. (Try Hillbilly Haven.) But if clean pools, well manicured facilities, a beautiful fishing spot, a welcoming place for your pet, a fun and unique puttputt course, and just overall a top notch, well loved campground is important to you, then this is it! We will be coming back many times and will HIGHLY recommend this place and their owners to anyone who will listen! We had the Self family reunion and everyone had a blast!! The 9 hole course was fun and you can't beat the price for All Day Golf AND Cart. The layout of the swimming area was great and all cabins were very clean and roomy. You can tell the owners take great pride in keeping everything stocked and clean. We already booked for next year and can't wait. Owners were very nice and helpful to us, thank you for a great experience.
We recently had a family reunion at Mitchell RV Park and I cannot say enough about our good experience. Kevin and Doris were so very gracious and hospitable as we made our plans for the event. Everyone in our family loved the park. The golfing, the swimming and the event room were all enjoyed to the max. The surroundings are beautiful with lots of attention to detail. Thank you for an amazing week-end. I recommend Mitchell Rv Park and Resort wholeheartedly!
Good place for a family reunion. We were there during the July 4th celebration and they had a private parade and even gave out awards for different things. They had a few games for the kids to participate in with awards for that as well. The golf course is nice and you pay one price to play all day. They have a few carts to rent but you better get to the office first thing in the morning to get one, they rent out quickly. The facilities are nice and well kept. The RV spots are a little close, but not too bad.
